WSY Beginner Gymnastics
Beginner classes are for those who are new to gymnastics or who are still working towards proficiency on beginner skills including front and back rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and bridges. Gymnasts will participate in progressions, drills, and core strength exercises to help them achieve proficiency. Events include: vault, beam, floor, mini tramp, and rings.
Dates:
- March 3-April 22, 2026
- April 28-June 10, 2026
Schedule:
- Ages 5-7: Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm
- Ages 6-11: Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00pm
- Ages 6-11: Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00pm
- Ages 6-11: Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm
Ages: 5-11
Location: West Shore YMCA

WSY Intermediate Gymnastics
Intermediate Gymnastics is INVITE only. This class is for children who have become proficient in beginner skills including front and back roll, cartwheel, unassisted handstand, and bridge kick over. Gymnasts will still do progressions, drills, and core strength exercises, but now are working towards back walkovers, round-offs, and chin-up pullovers. Events include vault, beam, floor, mini-tramp, and rings. Must have instructor approval for this class. Contact [email protected] to verify.
