WSY Beginner Ballet/Jazz
Participants will learn basic ballet and jazz techniques in a fun and low-key environment. Students will gain coordination, flexibility, musicality, and appreciation for the art of dance.
Dates:
- Winter: January 8-February 19 (7 classes)
Schedule: Wednesdays from 7:30-8:15 PM

WSY Creative Movement
Students will learn movement and basic ballet technique through songs, creative expressions, and games. The focus is to make students comfortable in their movement and coordination while having fun!
Dates:
- Winter: January 8-February 19 (7 classes)
Schedule: Wednesdays from 6:45-7:30 PM or Wednesdays from 10:30-11:15am

WSY Lyrical Dance
This class will have students gain a basic understanding of expressing the mood and lyrics of a song through movement. Lyrical uses elements of ballet and jazz in order to tell a story with inner emotion through dance.
Dates: January 11–February 22, 2025 (7 classes)
Schedule: Saturdays from 12:30-1:15pm
Ages: 5-7 years

In this unique class, participants will learn how to perform in a musical theater setting by developing their dance, acting, and performance skills. The group will be dancing to songs from both classic and contemporary musicals. This is a wonderful class for those looking to learn how to perform in musicals or just have fun.
