FSY Community Yard Sale
Join the Friendship YMCA for a Community Yard Sale, whether you’re shopping or selling! Each space will accommodate ONE 7-8 foot table and a 10×10 canopy. You must provide your own table/canopy.
The street directly in front of the building will be closed off. Commons Drive entrance to the rear entry of the parking lot will still be available for parking.
Total table spaces available for rent: 50
Date/Time: Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
Schedule: Vendor set-up begins at 7:00 AM, spot locations are first-come first-serve

Vaccine Clinics
Our Fall 2026 Vaccine Clinics are open for registration now! The YMCA Center for Healthy Living (YCHL) is excited to partner with Giant Pharmacy to host these clinics at the East Shore YMCA, Friendship YMCA, Northern Dauphin County YMCA, and West Shore YMCA.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
To register for one of the clinic time slots, select the option below and provide your name, phone, email address, and which vaccines you wish to receive. The hours for each option listed below will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. You will fill out paperwork before receiving the vaccines and complete a vaccine consultation with the pharmacy to ensure you receive the proper care.
By providing proof of insurance, you will gain access to the vaccines listed below, and they will be administered by Giant Pharmacy staff.*
The following vaccines to be offered:
- COVID (if available)
- Influenza (must be 5 years of age or older)
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis A
- Pneumonia
- Meningococcal
- Shingles
- RSV
- MMR
- Tdap
- HPV
*Must be eight years old or older for the routine children’s vaccines. For children under the age of 18, parental consent and presentation is required.

WSY Caregiver Support Group
A safe place for all caregivers, past and present, looking for support, practical information, and connection. You will never be pressured to share more than you feel comfortable sharing, and you can come as many times as you’d like. Facilitated by Pastor Brian Hennon and with presentations by various experts in a myriad of subjects relevant to caregivers, you will leave feeling uplifted and accompanied.
Reservations are encouraged but not required. Refreshments will be provided.
Free for members & community guests alike.

WSY Grief & Bereavement Support Group
This support group is open to anyone who has experienced grief and/or loss. Grief is the natural emotional response to the loss of someone close, such as a family member, friend, or pet. It can also occur as a result of a serious illness, divorce, or other significant loss. This open group provides a safe space for community members to connect, share their experiences, learn new coping skills, and support one another.
All are welcome. Free for members & community guests alike.
Co-facilitated by Musselman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Starfish Counseling for Grief and Loss, and Amedisys Hospice.

Wednesday, September 2 from 12:30-1:30pm – Foot & Ankle Workshop with Madden & Gilbert – Join us for a presentation covering the most common foot and ankle issues, including plantar fasciitis, and how physical therapy treats pain naturally. Meet in the Conference Room.
Wednesday, September 16 from 6:00-7:00pm – Happily Decluttered Workshop – How you can make decluttering a happy, freeing process. Stop by any time during the hour! Meet in the Conference Room.
Saturday, October 3 from 10:00-11:30am – How Food Affects Us – Learn the effect of molecules in each food group on our blood (flow, pressure, and sugar), digestion, hormones, nerves, immune system, physical and mental health, and energy levels. Using this information, people can choose food groups in their diet to balance their metabolic health instead of being confused by ever-changing dietary recommendations. Session includes time for a Q&A. Presented by Dr. Ray Armat. Meet in the Conference Room.
Monday, October 5 from 12:00-1:00pm – Breathing to Calm the Mind & Nurture the Soul – For years, we have been told that breathing deeply is good for us and will calm us down. Why? How does it work? Come and learn the basic science of this healthy habit that costs nothing to implement. Learning the skills can help calm your nervous system, quiet your mind, and allow you to pay closer attention to what happens around you. It helps us physically, mentally, and spiritually. Presented by Marti Derr, Associate Professor Emerita of Nursing at Messiah University. Meet in the Conference Room.

WSY Mah Jong
Mah Jong is a game of skill and luck that promotes friendship, and friendly competition. Join experienced player and instructor, member Toni Carocci, to learn how to play American Mah Jong, the official version of the National Mah Jongg League. Toni will guide you through the rules, using the official cards, arranging the tiles, and everything you need to know to play the game. Discover the joy of Mah Jong! It’s a great way to challenge your mind and meet new people!
There are no age restrictions for this program.
