Xtreme Pink Out is a way to allow members and community guests to experience our Xtreme classes and instructors. The Pink Out event is in partnership with the Breast Cancer Coalition to bring awareness to breast cancer, screening, and research. Featured instructors will be Shalana S., Nicole P., Robin M., Qwee B., and Alexandria H.

Join the Friendship YMCA for a Community Yard Sale, whether you’re shopping or selling! Each space will accommodate ONE 7-8 foot table and a 10×10 canopy. You must provide your own table/canopy.

The street directly in front of the building will be closed off. Commons Drive entrance to the rear entry of the parking lot will still be available for parking.

Falls are not an inevitable part of aging; they are a predictable risk that you have the power to influence and prevent. We can help.

At the workshop you will learn:

• What happens when balance problems develop
• How to reduce your risk of falling
• The safe way to get up after a fall
• How we successfully treat balance issues

You will never be pressured to share more than you feel comfortable sharing, and you can come as many times as you’d like. Facilitated by Pastor Brian Hennon and with presentations by various experts in a myriad of subjects relevant to caregivers, you will leave feeling uplifted and accompanied.

This support group is open to anyone who has experienced grief and/or loss. Grief is the natural emotional response to the loss of someone close, such as a family member, friend, or pet. It can also occur as a result of a serious illness, divorce, or other significant loss. This open group provides a safe space for community members to connect, share their experiences, learn new coping skills, and support one another.

All are welcome. Free for members & community guests alike.

Mah Jong is a game of skill  and luck that promotes friendship, and friendly competition. Join experienced player and instructor, member Toni Carocci, to learn how to play American Mah Jong, the official version of the National Mah Jongg League. Toni will guide you through the rules, using the official cards, arranging the tiles, and everything you need to know to play the game. Discover the joy of Mah Jong!  It’s a great way to challenge your mind and meet new people!

There are no age restrictions for this program.
