Summer Day Camp
The Harrisburg Area YMCA is committed to the healthy development of children and teens through a broad range of programs that capture the imagination, instill positive values, build self-esteem and teach fundamental skills. That’s why summer camp is such a critical part of our YMCA. YMCA camps are a powerfully effective way for your children to learn lessons that will serve them throughout their lives.
Our summer camps allow children and teens to not only play and stay active throughout the summer months but also teach them to interact with others in a team environment and cultivate lasting friendships.
Camp Curtin STEAM Camp
Welcome to the Camp Curtin YMCA Summer STEAM Camp!
The Camp Curtin YMCA is gearing up for its annual STEAM Camp. STEAM Camp provides supervised and fun-filled activities for students entering 1st through 7th grade focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). Children will have fun, make friends, and learn new skills. In addition to STEAM activities, campers will go on field trips, swim, play games and sports activities.

2023 campers, current Child care enrollees, and their siblings – March 9th
YMCA Members – March 16th
Open Registration – March 23rd

2024 Dates: June 10 to August 16, 2024.
Ages: All campers must have completed kindergarten and may not be 13 by the first day of camp.

TUITION ASSISTANCE: The YMCA accepts participants who qualify for subsidy. If you qualify for any kind of assistance, or need information, please contact Dannica Wilt to learn more about your child’s care. The Harrisburg Area YMCA Annual Campaign raises funds to provide scholarships for participants in need of assistance with membership and childcare. This scholarship program can provide relief if your family does not qualify for other types of assistance. If interested, please request a financial aid form from Dannica Wilt.

2024 Summer Camp Information

2024 Summer Camp will run from May 28 to August 16, 2024.
Ages: Summer Day Camp is for children who are entering 1st grade through entering 6th grade
Summer Camp Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Pre-care 6am -7am $25/week
Location: Northern Dauphin County Branch YMCA, 500 N Church Street, Elizabethville PA 17023
