Practice Level Prerequisite: The swimmer must have qualifying times within 10% of the 2024 State of Pennsylvania YMCA district times for their age group.

Practice Frequency: Swimmers at this elite level will have the opportunity to practice three days a week for two hours a day. The swimmer will also have the option to attend occasional Saturday morning clinics focused on turns and strokes.  Practices in the water will be an intricate mix of fast paced swimming, fast intervals, longer endurance work and high level technical skill. Practice frequency will increase as the season progresses.

What to Expect: The season will be designed with the end of the season competition and setting goals to achieve qualifying USA swimming times. Self-confidence derived from positive self-talk is a major focus of coach-athlete communication from practices to progression at meets. Swimming goals will grow from the state to the national level.
