ESY YBL Age: 7-9
YBL is open to boys and girls of all skill levels and emphasizes teamwork, skill development, sportsmanship, and fun! Participants will receive a team jersey and play at least 1/2 of each game.
Schedule:
Skills Assessment: November 18
Practices: December 2, 9, 16, and January 16
Games: Every Saturday from January 13–February 24, 2024
Practices and games will be held in the East Shore YMCA Gymnasiums every Saturday:
- 9:00-10:00 AM (ages 7-9)
- 10:30-11:30 AM (ages 10-12)
*No practice 11/25, 12/23, and 12/30.
*Practices are closed to parents.

Interested in one on one coaching? Coach Matt is available for 1 hour training session with you or your basketball player. He can set up a training program for the player’s individual needs that will take them to the next level!

FSY: YBL Next Steps Fall II 2023
YBL Next Steps is a fundamentally based advanced basketball skills program. The pace will be faster than our Developmental Basketball program. Players will be challenged during sessions requiring them to remain focused. Next Steps players will improve their basketball skills; developing core fundamentals and a more in depth understanding of how to play the game. All while learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship!
The coaching staff recommends that players have attended our Developmental Basketball program or received pervious basketball training.
YBL Next Steps is for boys and girls ages 12 to 15. The program runs for 8 weeks on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
