Rock Steady Boxing
Rock Steady Boxing is available for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Taught by a certified coach, this program will focus on balance, strength, coordination, mobility, and flexibility.
Program cost is $50/month. A one time assessment fee of $20 is required for new participants (Includes fitness assessment & a pair of boxing gloves). Coach Christina will contact those new to the program to set up the assessment.

TRX at East Shore
Suspension training uses leveraged body weight to challenge the entire body in every plane of motion. Safely perform exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injury, all at the intensity you choose. TRX class will be held in Fitness Studio 1 and have a primary focus on the straps. If you are new to TRX and want to give it a try, contact the John Blymier to register for a free 20-minute demo class.
The intermediate – advanced class is for students who have some TRX experience.
TRX is run on a session basis throughout the year. Members will have the option to drop-in to a class that is running for the session (minimum 5 registered participants) as long as there is space to do so.
TRX Drop-in is $5 per class: On the day of class pay at the front desk (or online & show your receipt to the front desk); receive your yellow tag; and hand your yellow tag to the instructor as proof of payment.

Women on Weights
Women on Weights small group training class. This small group training program is a great way for you to find your strengths while working in a low-stress, high-motivation group. This class is taught 4 times each month and is geared toward women. Register online or at the branch. Our first session will begin in November!
Class will run once a week for 4 weeks.
Wednesdays 11:00am – 12:00pm
Thursdays 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Members $25/month – Community Guest $35/month
Class limit is 8
Ages 16 & up
**week of Thanksgiving, the class will be offered Tuesday night since we are closed on Thursday for the holiday

Women On Weights (WOW)
Held at the West Shore Y, this group class is specifically geared toward women, providing a specific workout program for each class in the session. Taught by a certified trainer, this class meets in the Functional Training Center.

Monthly sessions available, meets 4 times per month for 45 minutes.
Held in the Functional Training Center at the WS Y.
